We will pick you up from your hotel and start our tour with a bus trip to the colonial village of Pisaq, located 32 km away from Cusco, where we will visit its archaeological complex and its famous handicrafts market; here you can buy textiles, handicrafts, jewels, delicious “empanadas” among other souvenirs at an unbeatable price.
We continue our journey for about 45 minutes passing through beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley in order to reach the town of Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Then we travel to Ollantaytambo famous for being the only Inca city that is still inhabited (the town still keeps the original streets designed by the Incas), we will climb to the fortress and see the incredible Inca technique to carve the stones. *After this we are going to see knitting demonstration in the town of Chinchero and different techniques to dye the wool. Finally we will return to Cusco at around 7 hrs.
*(Optional) if you want, instead of going to Chinchero, we can organize a trip to Machu Picchu by train for you!
