Madre de Dios

Madre de Dios is a natural paradise: it houses rivers, magnificent forests and abundant natural life. With immense reserve of flora and fauna, it is also a refuge for countless endangered species, such as marsh deer and horsehair wolf.

The Manu is one of the areas of greatest biodiversity in the world, such as Lake Sandoval, Lake Valencia, the Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park. It is the natural home of various native communities, where ecotourism is promoted.
